Bayside Recovery is seeking dedicated full-time substance abuse counselors to join our team!

Bayside Recovery is a private Medication-Assisted Treatment program with a patient centered approach.

​

The Substance Abuse Counselor will provide services to individuals who have a diagnosis of opioid dependency. The Substance Abuse Counselor will work closely with our other counselors, nurses, and program physicians.

​

Qualifications and requirements:

• At minimum, counselors must have approved trainee status, certification or licensure through the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists

• Positive attitude

• Capability to work in a team atmosphere

• Knowledge of addiction

• Comfortable with computers and computer software

• Excellent Documentation skills!

Tasks

• Maintain an assigned caseload

• Complete clinical assessments

• Complete and maintain patient treatment plans

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions

• Maintain patient electronic charts

• Provide care coordination with outside providers and/or treatment programs

Hours

• Monday-Friday 5:45 AM – 1 PM

• Rotating Saturday from 6:45 AM – 10:15 AM
